DTL Walk & Talk
Thursday, May 1, 2025
Move your body as you connect with nature and people on a relaxing walk through Downtown Lawrenceville, exploring the new Rhodes Jordan Connection Trail.
Let’s face it, making space to enjoy nature, exercise, and human connection can take a back seat in today’s busy and divided world. We know how important fresh air, movement, and friendships are for our mental and physical health, but many of us don’t know where to start. Perhaps you’re in a new season of life, looking for a lifestyle change, or you haven’t found a good way to meet new people outside of work. Whatever your story may be, the DTL Walk & Talk is a great opportunity to cultivate a practice and foster communication that can help you to flourish.
Every Thursday in May (5 weeks), meet at the Historic Gwinnett County Courthouse Gazebo on the Square for a brief stretch and introduction to the people in your walking club. Each week, a new question will be introduced to help guide conversations along the way. The group will then walk to Rhodes Jordan Park by way of the new connection near Park Place. The walk will take around an hour and fifteen minutes to complete and will end back on the square. From there, if you’re able, we encourage you to explore one of Downtown Lawrenceville’s hot spots for further conversations.
