Blair Crimmins began his current music career in Atlanta, Georgia, with a drive to bring Ragtime and 1920s-style Dixieland Jazz to new audiences. While playing small rock clubs around the Southeast, he developed a sound that is at once modern while being deeply rooted in the past. He has toured the U.S and Italy playing festivals and has opened for acts such as Mumford & Sons, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and Old Crow Medicine show. A multi-instrumentalist on guitar, banjo, and piano, Crimmins writes songs and arrangements for a classic New Orleans-style horn section consisting of trumpet, clarinet, and trombone. His album entitled Sing-a-longs! earned him a nomination at The Georgia Music Awards for Best Jazz Artist as well as winning Best Songwriter by Creative Loafing Atlanta.
According to NPR, the LA native, Gavin Turek, is a uniquely versatile entertainer. Whether through her live performances or her music - which seamlessly blends 70s funk-inspired R&B with poignant, honest lyrics - Gavin will engage and inspire even the most casual and apathetic of listeners. Her EP, You’re Invited, garnered attention and praise from Stereogum, Nylon, Okayplayer, NPR, KCRW, and Billboard, all of which highlighted her undeniable songwriting chops and vertiginous sound - a dovetailing, harmonious union of retro and modern elements. Her music was subsequently stitched into the fabric of Netflix’s Dear White People and HBO’s High Maintenance, and she has since appeared as a musical guest on Conan and on tour in Japan, the UK, China, France, and across the states supporting artists like Hayley Kiyoko and Tuxedo.
